Spring planting our vegetables in our Eco Garden!!
🌱 Planting Spring Vegetables in Our Eco Garden
Today our nursery children spent a joyful morning out in the Eco Garden, working together to plant our spring vegetables in the raised beds. The children explored the soil with their hands, noticing how soft and cool it felt after the recent rain. They carefully tucked tiny seeds and young seedlings into the earth, chatting about how they would grow “bigger than us” with sunshine, water, and care.
We talked about what plants need to stay healthy, and the children took turns gently watering the beds, watching the soil darken as it soaked up the water. There was such pride on their faces as they helped create a space that will soon be full of lettuce, carrots, peas, and other delicious vegetables.
Our Eco Garden is not just a place to grow food—it’s a place to grow curiosity, teamwork, and a love for nature. Today, the children planted much more than vegetables. They planted excitement for the weeks ahead as we watch our garden come to life.
