Celebrating Our Climate‑Ready Classroom Achievement The Weatherbies visited our school today to help us celebrate receiving this fantastic award. They were delighted to see all the wonderful eco‑work happening in Nursery and how we use their characters to help our children learn about climate change from such a young age. Their visit recognised the creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment shown by our pupils as they explore weather, sustainability, and caring for our world.

Green Tree School's Award - NI Woodland Trust

Today we visited Gransha Woods as part of our endeavor towards achieving the Silver Award on The Green Tree School's recognition status. We enjoyed a wonderful, if slightly damp morning amongst the trees and in the woodland surrounded by the sound of birds and amongst nature. The children became little scavenger hunters in a bid to complete the planned scavenger hunts and did bark rubbings and scavenger hunts while collecting an array of natural materials to take back to school to create a masterpiece to display in our outdoor classroom!
