Celebrating Our Climate‑Ready Classroom Award Achievement May 2026 - The Weatherbies visited our school today to help us celebrate receiving this fantastic award. They were delighted to see all the wonderful eco‑work happening in Nursery and how we use their characters to help our children learn about climate change from such a young age. Their visit recognised the creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment shown by our pupils as they explore weather, sustainability, and caring for our world.

Forest School's - Session 2 - 'Bird Watching'

Today was our second visit to The Playtrail as part of the Forest School's programme. We spent the morning with Ciara the facilitator of the programme and she introduced us to the many different native birds in our forest at the playtrial. We enjoyed bird spotting and made lots of beautiful clay bird creations which we were able to take home at the end of the day. The children were able to identify common birds including the little robing/santa's little helper and one little girl was fascinated when she spotted a little Wagtail! Lots of splashing in puddles and laughter as the children learned the skills of using binoculars and naming common garden birds!!
